Girls’ Pint Out is an all-female organization that promotes solidarity between beer drinkers of the fairer sex. Through monthly events, field trips, meet-ups and drives, we seek to promote a sophisticated level of beer appreciation among women, and bolster the craft beer industry in general. (Boys are allowed on chains and when dining Alfresco.)

We will increase our knowledge of beer through collaboration with fellow females, and introduce the uninitiated to superior suds. Women were the original brewers in Sumaria — let’s reclaim our supremacy!

Fresh Events Indy is Indianapolis’ newest and brightest event planning firm. Focusing on social events and celebrations, we bring a fresh creative approach to planning events and executing our clients’ visions with respect and energy. Magen and Tamre are friends, business partners, and event coordinators. We’ve started Fresh Events Indy to provide Indianapolis with an event planning firm that thinks outside the box and can give any event the planning detail it deserves. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a camera in my face.  My father was a photographer, mostly as a hobby but sometimes photographing weddings for friends and family, so after graduation, it seemed second nature to do the same for my friends.  Since then, I’ve photographed weddings, parties, graduations and events.

In the summer of 2009, my friend Tamre and I decided to go a different route.  With over a decade of combined experience in event planning, we thought it was time to get real about the business and give Indianapolis’ parties a different look.  So, taking a huge leap, we started building a business plan, and in December of 2009, Fresh Events Indy became a reality with the help of our friend in Boston, Allison Hanlon.
